Carrying on with the same idea of weaving and folding, I have made a couple of different forms using the same method as I did with the card, but just using paper to experiment.
The first one I did was a just trying to replicate the card model I made, but making the measurements more accurate so I can keep the information to transfer into an algorithm.

Its a bit hard to see in this photo but the measurements were:
Standard A4 size paper.
From base 5cm up (roughly in the middle of the page)
3cm each way from centre
24.1/2cm from the 5cm mark to the top of the paper

Looked like this then did a 2 plat.

 The final product was very similar to the card model, but turned out much crisper.

This is what the pattern looked like when I unraveled it back out to the flat form, you can see the creases zig zag up and down the paper.
